A Snake complains to Zeus about being stepped on. Zeus says the Snake should have bitten the first man.
A Snake (serpent or dragon) complains the Zeus about Men stepping on him. Zeus points out that this would not be a problem had the Snake bitten the first Man who did so. Too bad.
